Show Table pages display tabular data from your application's database. Show Table pages
function as reports and can be interactive, allowing application users to click through to
Add Record and Edit Record pages.

Using Iron Speed Designer's wizards, you can configure which columns are displayed (data fields),
which columns are searchable, and the display order and formatting for each column.
Our wizards also create and link a series of subsidiary pages that display individual record (row) data:
the Add Record, Edit Record, and Show Record pages.
(Note: Creating Edit Record and Show Record pages for database views require
Virtual Primary Keys and Virtal Foreign Keys.)
|
| Edit Table Page |
|
The Edit Table page is a great way to edit multiple records on one page in a convenient spreadsheet
format.

| Show Record Page |
|
The Show Record page displays the contents of an individual database record in a
field-value format. The fields on this page are not directly editable by application users. These
pages can be configured as to which table fields are displayed and how they are ordered on
the page.

| Master-Detail Pages |
|
Iron Speed Designer automatically creates Master-Detail pages based on the foreign key
relationships between tables and views in your database. Use the Record Panel Wizard to
selectively add or remove any number of detail tables connected to a master record. Each
detail table is individually configurable, providing maximum layout flexibility.

If your database lacks foreign key relationships necessary for Iron Speed Designer to
automatically construct master-detail pages, use Iron Speed Designer's Virtual Foreign Key
facility to identify these relationships.
|
| Table-in-Table Pages |
|
Table-in-Table pages present master-detail relationships in a condensed and easy-to-use format.
Application users can quickly view several layers of information on a single page, eliminating the
need to open multiple records.

and other non-editable information display uses. Web report pages are ready to print, allowing
application users to quickly share database information with each other and customers.
A host of configuration options lets you add, remove and configure filters, column headings, pagination
controls - virtually every aspect of the page.
